Request account deletion

To delete your MatchVet account and personal data, submit the form below. Your request goes straight to the MatchVet team by email, and we’ll email you a confirmation. We verify every request against the account before deleting anything, so please use the details you registered with. After verification, deletion is completed within 30 days.

Prefer email? You can also write to contact@matchvet.comfrom your registered address with the subject “Account deletion request”, or message us on WhatsApp.

What data is deleted

When your deletion request is verified, we permanently delete personal data associated with your account, including:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your profile photo and user role
• Veterinary license details (for veterinarian accounts)
• Animal and pet details you provided (species, age, and medical history you shared)
• Service requests, appointment details, and negotiation history
• In-app messages exchanged through your account

What may be retained

We retain a limited amount of data only where the law requires it, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Where this applies, the data is retained only for as long as necessary and is otherwise securely deleted or anonymized. This may include:

• Records needed to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations
• Information required to resolve an open dispute or complaint
• Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you
